Italian NGOs, associations, religious congregations and other civil society actors are geographically widespread throghout the country. In many cases, their presence originates in the independence aftermath. Committed since decades to support right enforcement and life improvements for its population, Italian CSOs can count on their durable and precious experience in Mozambique in several sectors.
Conscious of such valuable actors, the Italian Development Cooperation in Mozambique encourages synergies and collaboration with Italian CSOs, both supporting their initiatives and promoting their role within programmes by International Organisations and the European Union.
The following map shows the project co-funded by the Italian Development Cooperation in the country, within the bando OSC.
